Ge Jinming

       Ge Jinming, male, born in December 1982, Ph.D., professor, Cuiying Scholar of Lanzhou University, is currently the Associate Dean of the College of Atmospheric Sciences and Dean of the Department of Atmospheric Physics. He received a bachelor's degree in meteorology from Lanzhou University in 2005; and a doctorate degree in atmospheric physics and environmental science from Lanzhou University in 2010. He successively studied and visited the Department of Atmospheric Sciences, University of Washington, USA. He teaches undergraduate professional courses 'Atmospheric Radiation and Remote Sensing' and 'Numerical Analysis' and graduate optional courses 'Advanced Atmospheric Physics'. He mainly engaged in the research of atmospheric aerosol and cloud physical characteristics and climate radiation effects. In 2017, he was selected as a key member of the first batch of national colleges and universities Huang Danian-style teacher team; in 2018, he won the second prize of the Ministry of Education for outstanding achievements in natural science; in 2019, he was awarded the National Natural Science Outstanding Youth Fund Project; in 2020, he was selected as a leading talent in Gansu Province; In 2021, he won the honorary title of 'Youth May 4th Medal' of Lanzhou University. His main research results have published more than 30 papers in J. Geophys. Res., Geophys. Res. Lett., Atmos. Chem. Phys. and other journals.
