3 Teachers and 5 Students of our University Won the 2021 Baosteel Education Award and Baosteel Scholarship Honor

       Recently, the evaluation results of Baosteel Education Award and Baosteel Scholarship for 2021 were announced. 3 teachers and 5 students of our university won the Baosteel Education Award and Baosteel Scholarship respectively. Among them, Professor Wu Wangsuo from the School of Nuclear Science and Technology won the Baosteel Outstanding Teacher Special Award, and Professor Li Lifang from the School of Liberal Arts and Professor Jing Yuhong from the School of Basic Medicine won the Baosteel Outstanding Teacher Award.Liu Xiaoyue, a 2020 Ph.D student in Climatology, School of Atmospheric Sciences, won the Baosteel Outstanding Student Special Award. Bo Lang, 2019 Ph.D. student from School of Materials Science and Engineering, Ji Chengcheng from School of Physics and Technology, Physics (Theoretical Physics), Yang Zezhou, a student of the School of Information Science and Engineering, and Zheng Jingxuan, a 2018 undergraduate of English at the School of Foreign Languages, won the Baosteel Outstanding Student Award.
       Baosteel Education Award was established in 1990. There are five awards including Baosteel Outstanding Student Award, Baosteel Outstanding Student Special Award, Baosteel Outstanding Teacher Award, Baosteel Outstanding Teacher Special Award and Baosteel Outstanding Teacher Special Award Nomination Award, which are evaluated and awarded once a year. This year, a total of 270 teachers across the country won the Baosteel Education Award, of which 8 teachers were awarded the Baosteel Excellent Teacher Special Award; there were a total of 496 outstanding student awards, of which 26 were awarded the Excellent Student Special Award. As of 2021, a total of 87 teachers in our university have won the Baosteel Excellent Teacher Award, and 5 teachers have won the Baosteel Excellent Teacher Special Award; a total of 264 students in our university have won the Excellent Student Award, and 3 students have won the Baosteel Excellent Student Special Award.
