In order to further study and implement the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, on the afternoon of December 2, the first, second-, and third-party branches of the College of Atmospheric Sciences and the Ph.D. Student Party Branch jointly organized the theme of the party day activities in the Yifu Science Museum lecture hall. They invited Wang Yantao, associate professor of the School of Marxism, to give a study counseling report entitled 'Do not forget the original mission in mind-the agenda of the Sixth Plenary Session and the spirit of historical resolution'.

       Feng Xia and Huang Yu, deputy secretary of the party committee of the college, all party members, development targets and party activists of the four party branches participated in the event.

       Wang Yantao gave a comprehensive and vivid presentation and explanation of the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Party with rich historical facts, vivid examples, and detailed materials from the aspects of the plenary meeting, its significance, and core elements, helping the students to accurately grasp the scientific connotation of the new era, and have a deep understanding of the 13 major achievements of the party and state undertakings in the new era, the valuable historical experience of the 'ten persistence', and the important requirements for learning from history and creating the future.

       The theme of the party day activities further promoted the deepening and implementation of party history learning and education in various branches, guiding all graduate party members to learn and understand the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee and Xi Jinping’s new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and encourage them to learn from history and go forward courageously. The students expressed that, as young people in the new era, they will continue to strengthen the 'four consciousnesses', strengthen the 'four self-confidence', achieve 'two safeguards', firmly support the 'two establishments', and learn from the party's centuries-old struggle. They are standing at a new starting point to meet new challenges, take over the baton of history, forge ahead and strive for self-improvement. They will work hard and strive unremittingly for the realization of the second centenary goal and the realization of the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
