A few days ago, the Gansu Provincial Party Committee and Government announced the list of leading talents in Gansu Province in 2021. A total of 49 people from Lanzhou University were selected. Among them, 7 people including Zhang Xinping, Huang Ning, Yang Xiaoyan, Gou Xiaoping, Xu Zhaoqing, Liu Zhiyi, and Wang Xin were added as the first-level candidates;  39 people including Ding Sanyuan, Yu Fusheng, Ma Miaojun, Wang Shaohua, Wang Xuejun, Wang Xiaolei, Wang Yuexun, Wang Degui, Niu Yifei, Fang Xiangwen, Fang Quan, Deng Weihua, Bai Ming, Zhu Yingying, Tang Qingyan, An Junhong, Sun Hui, Mou Cuicui, Li Shuai, Li Shouli, Li Kexin, Li Yu, Zhang Dongju, Zhang Baoqing, Chen Siyu, Meng Wenbo, Geng Jun, Xu Hongya, Huang Wei, Huang Zhongwei, Huang Liang, Dong Shihui, Shu Xingzhong, Zeng Xianghong, Zeng Huiying, Bao Xu, Yun Xiangdong, Guan Xiaodan, Wei Shaowen and others were selected as second-level candidates; 3 people including Wang Shengzhe, Liu Yuxiao, and Hou Fujiang were adjusted as first-level candidates.

 

       News background:

       Gansu Province began to implement the Gansu Provincial Leading Talents Program in 2008. In October 2019, the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government revised the "Implementation Measures for the Construction of Leading Talents in Gansu Province", and planned to select about 1,000 leading talents. The construction will be divided into two levels: the first level is selected to lead the construction of disciplines and accelerate scientific and technological progress and to foster key industrial technology leaders and key discipline leaders who promote the development of industrial innovation; the second-level candidates are academic technology leaders and academic technology backbones who can support discipline construction, industrial development and technological innovation, and have great development potential. Leading talents are dynamically managed. Each employment period is 3 years. For leading talents selected for the first and second levels, allowances and subsidies are provided at the standard of 2,000 yuan and 1,500 yuan per person per month.

       In 2021, a total of 163 people in the province will be supplemented and adjusted as the leading talents in Gansu Province. Up to now, 234 people in our school have been selected as the leading talents in Gansu Province, of which 118 are in the first level and 116 are in the second level.
