In order to thoroughly  implement the annual style construction requirements of school's “in-depth planning and in-depth implementation”, continuously  promote the implementation of the cooperation between the school and the bureau, actively promote the construction of “Double First-rate”, the leading group of the party and government of the School of Atmospheric Sciences, following the “three initiative” work ideas of the school party committee, visited the Gansu Meteorology Bureau on October 23 and had discussions with the head of the Bureau and heads of the relevant functional departments. The symposium was presided over by Bao Wenzhong, party secretary and director of Gansu Meteorology Bureau.

 

              At the symposium, the two sides conducted in-depth discussions on cooperation in personnel training, scientific research, and student internship practice, and conducted research and deployment on the joint construction of the research center for atmospheric sciences, joint holding of science and technology innovation contests, and meteorological professional knowledge contests. Both sides indicated that they should conduct similar discussions and exchanges on a regular basis, strengthen cooperation, solve practical problems to achieve common development.
