Recently, the Science and Technology Association of Gansu Province announced the results of the “2018 Gansu Young Science and Technology Talents Supporting Project” and decided to provide funding for 16 young science and technology workers. Zhang Feimin, a young teacher of the School of Atmospheric Sciences of Lanzhou University, was one of them. Dr. Zhang Feimin joined the School of Atmospheric Sciences in 2017. His research interests include land-atmosphere interaction, numerical simulation and data assimilation.

       The “Young Science and Technology Talents Supporting Project” set up by the Science and Technology Association of Gansu Province aims to train a group of young talents under the age of 32 who have certain advantages among their peers in Gansu province and have great development potential in their subject areas, and to develop a team of young talents for scientific and technological innovation who have both political integrity and professional competence and are creative.
