Recently, Dr. Jianwei Zhang, a young teacher of the College of Atmospheric Sciences, was awarded the title of “The Ninth National Excellent Young Meteorological Scientists”. In addition, Dr. Jianyi Zhang was awarded the title of “The Ninth Top Ten National Excellent Young Meteorological Scientists” because of his excellent work in the stratospheric tropospheric interaction and interaction between atmospheric chemistry and climate.

       It is reported that the award was sponsored by the Chinese Meteorological Society to encourage and guide young meteorological scientists to make contributions to the meteorological modernization and meteorological undertakings. A total of 78 meteorological scientists nationwide won this award this year. Among the winners who were awarded the title of “Excellent Young Meteorological Scientists”, 10 representative winners were awarded the title of “Top Ten National Excellent Young Meteorological Scientists”.
